Workout Trackers

In his blog, 60 in 3, Gal Josefsberg wrote about using a spreadsheet to track workouts. He provides a simple Google Docs spreadsheet that can be used for tracking workouts over time. This is just a sample, but the graph is a good idea.

Workout-calculator.xls - This spreadsheet can be used right away or customized that was posted to another fitness discussion forum. It features calculation of total weight lifted ("tonage") per body part over the period of a one week for a split workout routine. Nice idea, and you could change this to fit your own week of workouts. The addition of a graph like in Gal's sample would make this one even more useful (then you could transfer the totals to the graph worksheet after each week was completed).
